Hailey Minelli shut down Clintondale, throwing a complete game shutout and leading New Haven Varsity Lady Rockets to a 12-0 victory on Monday
New Haven Varsity Lady Rockets secured the victory thanks to seven runs in the third inning. The offensive onslaught by New Haven Varsity Lady Rockets was led by Raychael Banks, Taylor Jones, Minelli, Shelby Koralewski, and Kailyn Weier, all sending runners across the plate with RBIs in the inning.
One bright spot for Clintondale was a single by #9 in the first inning.
Minelli was the winning pitcher for New Haven Varsity Lady Rockets. She allowed two hits and zero runs over five innings, striking out seven.
